Our Story.
Welcome to Bloom! Our names are Robyn and Annie. Just like you, we are passionate dance studio owners and dance educators. Before that, we were both faculty members at other studios and before that, we had professional performing careers.
Being studio owners we know how concerned you are with the state of our industry and the negativity surrounding dance competitions at the moment. We share your worries!
As a dance studio owner, what would you change about dance competitions?
Maybe the fact that tricks are valued more than artistry? The long hours? The lack of inclusive levels for technique? How about the inappropriate music and costumes for kids? What about the lack of personalization at large competitions? What if you just want your students to have a great time and learn how to be team players? Do you simply want your students to learn how to use this beautiful art form to express themselves and build self-esteem?
We hear you and understand your concerns!
We’d like to introduce you to BLOOM DANCE COMPETITION, a new kind of fun, boutique and inclusive dance competition!
