At Bloom Dance Competition, we celebrate dancers at every stage of their journey. Whether you're just stepping into the competition world or you're a seasoned performer, we offer entry levels designed to ensure fair and exciting competition.
ROOT LEVEL
Ideal for dancers with limited competition experience or those taking three or fewer hours of class per week. This level is perfect for those new to the world of dance competition USA and looking to build confidence on stage.
SPROUT LEVEL
Designed for dancers with moderate competition experience who take 4-6 hours of classes and rehearsals weekly. This level provides a balance of challenge and growth, helping dancers develop their skills while competing against peers at a similar level.
BLOOM LEVEL
Created for advanced dancers with seven or more hours of training per week. These dancers exhibit strong technical ability and extensive competition experience. This level is ideal for those aiming to take their performance to the next level in a dance competition company setting.

Every performance at Bloom Dance Competition is evaluated based on technique, performance, musicality/ precision, and choreography.

Our judges honor more than just technical precision, they celebrate the artistry, creativity, and presence that make a performance truly memorable. Special awards include Judges’ Choice for standout routines, Excellence in Choreography for innovative movement and storytelling, Excellence in Performance for captivating stage presence, Excellence in Technique for exceptional technical skill, and Excellence in Sportsmanship, awarded to one studio that exemplifies kindness and respect throughout the weekend.

The highest-scoring routines in each category and age division receive Divisional Overall Awards, recognizing top talent across solo, duet/trio, small group, large group, and production performances. These awards highlight the best of the best at each competition.
